Tinhinan — The Algerian economic media for the global diaspora

Algeria's economy and tech, every morning at 9 AM, in French, Arabic and English.

Tinhinan was born from a simple observation: Algeria's economy is everywhere, but clear information is nowhere.

Every morning, dozens of decisions, figures and signals are published in Arabic, French and English. But no one has time to read them all. No one connects them. No one translates them for the Algerian diaspora.

We do it. Every day. In three languages. In five minutes.

Our mission: making Algeria's economy readable

Tinhinan is an independent Algerian economic media. Our mission is to make Algeria's economy and tech accessible to everyone who depends on them — whether in Algiers, Paris, Montreal or Dubai.

We monitor over 20 Algerian and international sources every night. We extract what matters: the decisions that count, the figures that move, the weak signals that announce Algeria's economic shifts.

We publish in three formats:

Three languages. One Algeria.

Our editorial method

  1. Collection — 20+ Algerian and international sources, aggregated every night.
  2. Filtering — selecting information with real economic impact.
  3. Verification — systematic cross-checking of facts and figures.
  4. Writing — clear summaries, no jargon, with sources cited.
  5. Translation — simultaneous French, Arabic and English versions.
  6. Publication — newsletter at 9 AM, portal updated at 9 AM and 2 PM.

🌱 On the use of artificial intelligence

We use AI tools for collection, translation and formatting. Every piece of content is reviewed, verified and approved by a team member before publication.

AI saves us time. It does not replace editorial judgment or human responsibility. No content is published without human review.

The team behind Tinhinan

Tinhinan is an independent economic media, produced by a small team based between France and Algeria.

Editorial direction — Monitoring, writing, content approval

Technical production — Website, newsletter, podcast, video

Translation — French, Arabic and English versions

We are not a newsroom of fifty journalists. We are a small team, AI-assisted, with one obsession: clarity.

Our editorial independence

Tinhinan is not affiliated with any political party, institution or company.

We do not publish sponsored content without clearly labeling it. We do not give partners editorial oversight. We do not modify information to please advertisers.

If we make a mistake, we correct it publicly.

Why "Tinhinan"?

Tinhinan was a Berber queen, a historical figure of the Sahara. Her name embodies memory, transmission and sovereignty.

We chose this name because it connects three things: deep Algeria, the diaspora, and the future. The economy is not just about figures — it is about memory and purpose.

Our vision for the coming years

Tinhinan aims to become the reference for Algerian economic information for the diaspora and decision-makers. Newsletter, podcast, video, B2B briefs: we are progressively building a complete media ecosystem, in three languages.
